Baobab Learning is a small business partnership started in 2020 by co-directors and tutors, Rochelle Duvenage and Natalie Winter. We provide quality one-on-one academic support in the form of test and exam preparation, homework help, Q&A sessions, and study skills support.

Natalie Winter
Natalie is a passionate teacher who approaches all endeavours with kindness, determination, and a bright and sunny disposition. She has been tutoring professionally for 8 years and is a talented and diverse tutor.
Natalie specialises in teaching: Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting, Afrikaans, Music Theory and Beginner Violin.
Education:
After matriculating from Wynberg Girls’ High School in 2015 with 7 distinctions and the award for Best All Rounder, as well as completing her Cambridge AS level in English, Natalie went on to complete her tertiary education at both UCT and Rhodes University. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Social Science in Politics and Anthropology.

Rochelle Duvenage
Rochelle is friendly, outgoing and adaptable, with a hunger for knowledge and a patient, compassionate nature. Many years working with children has given her valuable insights into education and a deep
understanding and rapport with children of
all ages. With 12 years' tutoring experience, she specialises in Life Science, History, English Language, Literature and Creative Writing, and Beginner Piano and Guitar.
Education:
Rochelle completed her high school education at Danville Park Girls’ High School in her hometown, Durban. She matriculated in 2012, achieving distinctions for 5 of her 7 subjects. After three years spent working and travelling, she completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Rhodes University; graduating in 2018 in Journalism and English Literature, with distinction in English.

ACADEMIC TUTORING:
CAPS & IEB
We tutor standard school subjects on offer under both the CAPS and IEB curriculums currently followed in South African schools.
EXAM PREPARATION & STUDY SKILLS SUPPORT
We prepare our students for assessment consistently throughout the year, but offer focused exam preparation sessions and additional study support during exam time. We provide revision material, and assist with developing and honing study skills and creating revision schedules. We also host extended exam support workshops upon request.
SPECIALISED CLASSES: GUITAR, PIANO & VIOLIN
At Baobab Learning, you can try something different with our beginner music lessons for both children and adults. Beginner lessons in Piano, Guitar, Violin and Singing are all covered in our field of expertise.
